Eleven Sports launched on Wednesday to a slightly terrible first impression: no carriage on other providers and the Nowo-Eleven Sports IP Box, supposed to launch on Monday, didn't even launch yet.

On the other hand, it seems that they will get NFL matches here, something that hasn't been seen here since ESPN America shut down (the Super Bowl, part of the deal, also aired on SPORT.TV until this year).

Some of you may know that this month Canadian TV channels changes.

For example:
-All of the DHX owned channels reduced the bitrate, it has some pretty good sharper details. Plus the ratings and the DOGs has been changed.
-Global also reduced the bitrate to 19.8 MB/s; previously 13.8 MB/s, plus has good sharper details.
-TVO also reduced the bitrate to 13.8 MB/s; previously 15 MB/s, has good sharper details, now the audio has been changed to 384 kbps stereo to 192 kbps stereo.

Even CN PT has a better bitrate than the terrestrial channels here.

Looks like TVO's OTA bitrate is back to 15 MB/s and 384 kbps. Plus the video isn't sharper than it was in the morning. Was this a test or something. The Cable looks more sharper than OTA.

Since Kids, Vasantham and Arts Central all had individual websites, it's hard to assemble a decent full-day schedule for the combined service. They aired many Warner Bros shows, but also some Fox Kids shows, some anime, some Cartoon Cartoons, some classics, Rugrats and pre-school shows.

Portuguese subtitles are a weird thing. They bowdlerise all swears in movies yet they still keep the swears in the track (just talking about movies because they are a bit more relaxed in rules). And then they say "watch your language" yet they bowdlerise everything. Doesn't make any sense.

Two weeks ago, the Yemeni Deputy Minister of Media, Hussein Basalim, has arrived to Aden TV’s Newly-built Headquarter in Huqat City in the Temporary Capital of Aden to see the news studios, Aden Radio Headqurater, Drama studios, Security Room, Control Room, and Air Conditioning.

He has mentioned that they are ready to return the Yemeni Channels (State and private channels), that worked outside the country during and after the Yemeni Civil War.

He also continued that they hope they will bring back Yemen TV and Aden TV to the country, broadcasting from Aden and the liberated areas.

Most of Latin America will be deprived from watching the Italian Serie A because FOX Sports and ESPN didn't bid in time for a deal of $400 million.

The first match, however, was shown to the region through Rai Italia (whose HD feed launched on DIRECTV in some countries) in Italian and the Serie A Pass platform.

Rai Italia broadcasts at least three matches per week outside of Europe (this could be the reason why the channel doesn't operate in Europe) through another licensor, IMG, and under a bid for Italian immigrants. For this season, Rai Italia has commenced HD broadcasts.

All MBC Channels on all frequencies of Arabsat and Eutesat 7WA/8WB are having technical problems.

Some MBC HD channels dropped the logo. MBC1 HD is black screen, while MBC Drama HD is broadcasting Al-Arabiya HD. AlArabiya HD dropped the HD logo on Arabsat. AlArabiya HD at this time on Arabsat is different from Eutelsat 8WB.

Update: AlArabiya became testcard.

Update #2: MBC HD channels are now black screen.

How do you mean integrated? Would they not be better renaming Food Network Italy as Fine Living Network?
