I don't know which ones it could possibly merge with, likely Portugal, Netherlands, and Nordic.

hello are you aware of the Disney channel block on France 3 in the 80s
Are you aware of what was on the Cartoon Cartoons block prior to the Check it 3.0 rebrand? I call seeing Cramp Twins and Ben 10 on the lineup.

It's such a long time ago now, but probably European filler shows such as Chop Socky Chooks and Robotboy (The Cramp Twins is among those too). The Cartoon Cartoons block is a bit of misnomer by the Sky EPG team, same with "Disney Channel Preview", they did it out of habit as it has been running for years, but the content of the block changed to include other shows but the original Cartoon Cartoons.

I guess they didn't bother mentioning the individual shows as there probably would be too many and it wasn't important as CN isn't ad supported after midnight.

As for Disney, there used to be a preview loop from midnight, dating back to the days when it was a premium channel, but it became more of a logo loop animation.

I do actually recall CN Too having a slightly different Cartoon Cartoons lineup which consisted of Chowder, Billy and Mandy and Ben 10. I think the issue with the Cartoon Cartoons was that it was bound to of changed with the times. It was the only way to watch Cow and Chicken over here until it got a limited timeslot of 9/10PM.
Do the UK feeds of Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Cartoonito have unique commercials for viewers in the Republic of Ireland and Malta (since those two countries use the UK feeds)? Also, does Make, Shake and Jake air on CN UK, Boomerang UK and Cartoonito in ROI/Malta, or is it only available in the UK?

The CN UK channels are identical in UK, Eire and Malta.

So viewers in the Republic of Ireland and Malta do really get the exact same ad breaks when watching CN UK, Boomerang UK and Cartoonito UK as ones in the UK? Are any of the ads on the UK feeds even targeted to ROI or Malta viewers at all, as opposed to UK viewers?

The UK feeds do have separate licenses for the Republic of Ireland registered in the Czech Republic, by the way.

There are adverts priced in both GBP/EUR. Quite a lot of UK/Ireland retailers (for example Tesco and Smyths) and products are crossborder. There's is no Irish advertising subfeed like what Nick Jr and Nicktoons has.

What is your thoughts on the Fox Riders branding?

    I think it's really good.

Even the endboards for shows were good
Not as good as the US but they were cool

What is the exact name of the Jetix font? I downloaded a similar font called Garinty, but that has some differing characters.

It's mentioned on the Wiki page I wrote, it's called "Jetix Luggage" based on the Luggage typeface. I've extracted it from from one of Jetix Europe's Annual Report PDF's so I know it's the official one. The other font is Effectra Bold which was used on endboards on Jetix's promos. You can have a copy if you want.

It would've still been with Disney either way. Disney bought 20th Century Fox as a whole in 2019.

Actually, your post could be what if disney never bought fox family worldwide because that where fox kids assets were at the time of the sell to disney back in 2001

i think it would end up as part with a joint venture between nelvana, fox and canwest*

hey um I have another idea, the haim saban attempt to have news corporation (the owners of fox and fox family worldwide at the time) to buy his stake in fox family worldwide back in 2000/2001
    harry580
    harry580
but the problem is: haim saban wanted fox to buy his stake in fox family worldwide meant if he did that, fox would own all of Saban Entertainment/saban Paris/fox kids library and anime dubbing division

Yes, both Saban and Fox wanted to sell for different reasons.

I think because fox is trying to get the direct tv deal to get though, I think its be for the best if fox focus on the fox family worldwide and saban issue first before buying direct tv

Was Checkered Past a deliberate distraction to get King of the Hill airing at 5pm? I may be a conspiracy theorist, but it's better than being a television executive.

The Peanuts Reruns are in the year 1978 this year, that means Eudora made her rerun re-appearance on Tuesday. This is a fun time, though it is a shame Schulz didn't have much for her.
I kinda hate to say it, but I think I’m starting to give up hope for Cartoon Network.
Ghibli films are on sale again on Apple TV, not sure how long the sale lasts. Nabbed Only Yesterday for $10. Suhweet
You just had to be there between February and April 2024 in the case of DC Nordic.
it literally went on emergency broadcasting for days and then after that all of the audio tracks except Norwegian, where on mute they even didn’t relaunch on April 1 like intended it was April 2 instead on April 1 the emea feed was still in Nordic countries like normal (because there was no one in control it was an Easter Monday)
