  • I wish the second part of the new Phineas and Ferb episode just, made Linda disappear from the blast in part one, so that every episode ends one of the characters getting vaporized.

Eventually it keeps escalating until the season 6 finale is just one character alone by themselves.

    Make it Albert.
Crappy 10 years to Disney XD's worse logo and branding of its 2!

At least we got the premiere of Future-Worm! (back when it was shortform) from it (interestly 5 days earlier on May 27).

Two More Eggs was another shortform series, which debuted a month later on June 23, so if they postponed this rebrand by one month it would technically fall under the 2009 era's umbrella too...
Crappy 15 years and (roughly) 15 hours to Cartoon Network's worst logo!

Like Nick's logo from that previous September, it was a stark downgrade from the logos before it (much more so CN), but still had good branding around it for the first 4 to 5 years.
Some interesting things about this year's Kids Choice Awards nominees:
-Dragon Ball Daima is the 2nd anime ever nominated since Pokemon in 2000
-Favorite Global Music Star has an artist from UK and another artist from Europe
-Fortnite got its first nomination since 2021, rest of the games are the same as last year
-Linkin Park got its first Favorite Music Group nomination since 2010
    -there's a Favorite Podcast award
Happy 20 years to LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game hitting the shelves!

I've had a copy of it on PlayStation 2 from Half-Price Books since I was 8, and oddly it had the Greatest Hits re-release cover but the original release disc (which unlike most PS2 games, was on CD-ROM instead of DVD-ROM).
    "One thousand!"

"Uhh, the number of times you forgot to wear underwear."

"No, that only happened like, nine times."

Happy 15th anniversary to the actual premiere of Adventure Time!

Fingers crossed that Side Quests comes to Adult Swim when it releases!

The CN Wiki says 5 April. Sneak-peek dates (such as yesterday) don't count for me.

I am firmly certain that Adventure Time: Side Quests is 100% going directly to Cartoon Network proper, both in the United States and internationally. It doesn't seem like Side Quests is going to be anything other than a family-friendly series, unlike the more explicitly adult Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake sequel series.

I don't care what the wiki says, as Gym Partner and Ben 10 also aired sneak peeks that are counted as the actual premiere.

In fact, Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated also aired a sneak peek on April 5 and that's counted as the actual premiere for some reason!
I wish the Academy Awards went through with nominating Moana 2 just for the chance of it becoming the funniest Oscars win.
The Annoying Orange was uploaded 15 years ago!

I still find him decently funny, and rank High Fructose Adventures as one of my favorite Cartoon Network shows.

I wouldn't really put his Cartoon Network show as one of my favorites (quite the opposite in fact), but to each his own.

Though I also don't hate the Annoying Orange that much. He's pretty funny in small doses and represents late 2000s internet humor rather well (same with Dane Boe's other content).

He's basically the 2000s equivalent of Skibidi Toilet (though about 10000x more watchable).

It's been 15 years since Nickelodeon changed their most popular and well-known logo, of which was in use for a quarter of a century beforehand.

Despite me and many others ultimately preferring for the 1984 logos (and the reason behind the change being rather dumb), I think the 2009 logo can look good if it has an appealing graphic design to it (like the 2009-2014 Nicktoons rebrand for example).

I didn't hate the new logo, mostly. I didn't think The N should have been rebranded as Teen Nick though, and Nicktoons Network to Nicktoons, but the only new version of the logo I didn't like was Nick @ Nite's I really liked the 2007-09 logo , and using at instead of @ .. I'm also someone who doesn't like the 2002-2014 Disney channel logo either.

@JMTV True, but I'm not really sold on the new splat logo, the graphic design it came with doesn't really look good.

@LinusFan303 The N becoming TeenNick I can understand, but Nicktoons Network and Noggin should've kept those names. I agree that the 07-09 Nick @ Nite logo is the best one! Why don't you like the 02-14 Disney Channel logos?

It's really telling that the designer (Eric Zim) only designed this logo and nothing else.
With Ice Age 6 potentially happening, the hater in me hopes that Scrat doesn't appear at all due to that lawsuit by Ivy Supersonic (who created him as Sqrat in 1999) from 2 years ago.
A New Wish is good, but it's getting too comfortable at playing it safe (and not in the way you're thinking of...)

they need to pull a Timmy's Secret Wish or Certifiable Super Sitter to scare away the Fairly OddBoomers!
The Xbox 360 store's closure earlier today got me thinking about when the PS3 and Vita stores were initially planned to shut down 3 years ago, and if Sony went through with that, then the oldest console with a still online marketplace would be the PlayStation 4.

    And that'd be depressingly jarring.

    What about the Xbox One?

that came out a week after the PlayStation 4

still, both of them would be the only pre-Switch consoles with stores still online, which would've been a very weird timeline

I dunno how long the PS3 and Vita stores will stick around for.
Happy 10th anniversary to Henry Danger!

It's one of my favorite Nickelodeon shows (especially in the latter half of its life), and its spin-offs (Adventures of Kid Danger and Danger Force) should run for as long as and had as many episodes as HD did.

Same goes for Sam & Cat (which ended 9 days before Henry Danger came out)

Here's hoping that its film for Paramount+ comes out soon, since filming for it finished in April

Close, but it did fully premiere on September 26 (the same day as Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn)

In terms of Nick sitcoms/Nickcoms, Bella and the Bulldogs and Game Shakers came out in 2015, and School of Rock came out in 2016

Just seen a Cartoon College bumper on MeTV Toons where Bob Bergan places Colonel Rimfire alongside Elmer Fudd being 2 classic cartoon hunters that have both succeeded in making us laugh.
Well it appears that Pres Cafe has blocked me, or at least Cloudflare is saying I'm blocked from it. If this isn't a glitch, It seems my British TV presentation forum days, which started with me trying to make an account on TV Forum, have ended. I will remain on here and on Media Spy, which is an Australian forum similar to Pres Cafe and this forum.
I've just read some dumb 40s articles from a lady named Florence Fisher Parry about Golden Age cartoons. They're pretty condensing.
