These are great discovery if you ask meHere are two more continuities of Disney Channel Scandinavia, this time from much earlier (from Saturday, 1st November 2003, i.e. when the feed was still dedicated only for Scandinavia):
Two Disney Channel Scandinavia continuities from late August 2005/early September 2005:
Contents:
- "Recess" credits (with Arabic/Swedish/Norwegian/Danish dub credits)
- Next ident (Quack Pack/The Legend of Tarzan/Recess) with "Snart" text (MEA feed probably substituted that text with both بعد قليل and NEXT.
- "Fillmore!" new show (at least in Scandinavia, in MENA region it premiered much earlier) promo
- Disney Toon Tips: "Dave the Barbarian"
- Disneychannel.tv games promo
- "Quack Pack" Swedish intro
Contents:
- "Quack Pack" credits (with Arabic/Swedish/Norwegian/Danish dub credits)
- Next ident (The Legend of Tarzan/Recess/Dave the Barbarian) with "Snart" text
- "Brandy and Mr. Whiskers" new show promo
- DC ident with sunken ship
- "Tarzan 2" contest promo
- DC ident with rainbow blowfish
- "Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Mousketeers" premiere promo (I remember that this was the only movie I've seen on DC MEA/PL that aside from having Arabic/Swedish/Norwegian/Danish dub credits, it also had the Finnish (!) on-screen dub credits
At the current evolutionary rate of Disney Channel and the technology in general, and despite the growing back catalog with the merger with Fox in many countries, you won't see a new premium kids channel in the next century. It also was what made the Disney Channel's "premium"
Without the WWOD movies, with Disney Cinemagic's popping up in countries of Europe (which would be premium), Disney Channel could go "basic" and become a teen channel
What DC US had been for a long time
