I can't see Rental Scores coming back on the scale they were at in the 80s/90s/00s, but I could see small independent local stores being profitable. Though rare, there are some out there in the world already.

I remember a local pizzeria in my town having a video rental section up until...I dunno, 2012? I think they had both DVD and even VHS.
For some reason I want to use computer backup tapes to create a new VCR format. Utterly impractical, for a variety of reasons, but the idea is still bugging me.

Nice job, I really enjoyed this. Very nostalgic, even though I wasn't really into Pokemon at the time. Design is nicely retro too.

Thank you. Glad you found it nostalgic. Part of my goal was to use late 90's web design & HTML techniques to make something which looked good. Another goal was to tell what the craze was like, so kids who hadn't been there, or to adults or teens who were too old for the series, could understand.

I was 12-13 at the time, so around the upper end of the target audience. I was intrigued but didn't take the plunge; didn't have a Game Boy yet, didn't have easy access to the anime, and wasn't that interested in the cards. I did consider buying Pokemon Stadium and going to The First Movie (my cinema trips were fairly infrequent then) but ultimately didn't experience either until many years later.

What do you mean a Megas XLR reboot was rejected? There was even one going to happen in the first place?

I find it ironic how in the age of reboots/revivals, there are those getting vetoed, usually for stupid reasons (Jimmy Neutron not being "diverse enough", anyone?)
The best show that Comedy Central came with is finally back with the second season!
Heard up that there's a Steven Universe spin-off in the progress.
Had to change my password as my old one was caught in a data breach or something and I was too lazy to change lol, but I finally changed it
on the 27th, i will be seeing one of my childhood fave country artists live, Kathy Mattea. she comes here every year just about, but i've never actually gotten to go until now. so this'll be pretty nice for me.
