“Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest” Debuting July 7, New Voice Actors and Characters Designs Revealed

In the early 2010s, shortly after the great market crash of 2008, Fairy Tail played a big role in transitioning the American anime market from cable to streaming as it became a huge phenomenon without ever airing on Toonami or Adult Swim like previous shonen hits, proving that anime can succeed without a cable airing. It’s massive success was kind of a surprise as the previous major adaptation of one of Hiro Mashimina’s manga, Rave Master, got cancelled in Japan fifty-one episodes into its run, and American audiences seemed tepid on the series. Fairy Tail lasted 328 episodes that aired in Japan between November 22, 2011-September 29, 2019. Just when it seemed like the series reached its conclusion, a sequel anime got announced last year. Now we have a confirmed release date and we know it will be released soon, really soon, July 7 to be precise.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is an adaptation of Hiro Mashima’s sequel manga to Fairy Tail, in publication since July 25, 2018. It will be a direct continuation of the original series and feature the same cast of beloved characters like Natsu, Lucy, Erza, Gray, Wendy, and Happy.

1 decade, 1 month and 1 fortnight ago, Shrek got a series of shorts titled New Shrek on DreamWorksTV.

Like the rest of Shrek, it has its fair share of memes, like a One Direction parody called Wrong Direction, an episode where he literally just burps Happy Birthday, a Freestyle Rap, and (from the very first second no less) of course:
Happy Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day!
I swear to God, no one really hates Cartoon Cartoons/CN Studios library more than Warner Bros. Discovery do.
