I'm thinking yes. Disney Junior shows usually have at least two seasons.

Out Of The Box - (1998-04) - 3 Seasons
PB&J Otter (1998-00) - 3 Seasons
The Book Of Pooh - (2001-03) - 2 Seasons
Stanley (2001-04) - 3 Seasons
JoJo's Circus (2003-07) - 2 Seasons
Higglytown Heroes (2004-08) - 3 Seasons
Little Einsteins (2005-09) - 2 Seasons
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (2006-16) - 5 Seasons
Handy Manny (2006-13) - 3 Seasons
My Friends Tigger & Pooh (2007-10) - 3 Seasons
Imagination Movers (2008-13) - 3 Seasons
Special Agent Oso (2009-12) - 2 Seasons
Jungle Junction (2009-12) - 2 Seasons
Jake And The Never Land Pirates (2011-16) - 4 Seasons
Doc McStuffins (2012-20) - 5 Seasons
Sofia The First (2012-18) - Pilot TV Movie + 4 Seasons
Henry Hugglemonster (2013-15) - 2 Seasons
Sheriff Callie's Wild West (2014-17) - 2 Seasons
Miles From Tomorrowland (2015-18) - 3 Seasons

I figured the first episode, "First Flight/Pilot Error", would be uploaded to youtube. Instead, they uploaded "Carnival Caper/Songbird Soars Again" . It came out on Disney Now last week, and comes out on tv next week.

The Rocketeer "First Flight / Pilot Error"

First Flight:

This appears to try to be a sequel to the actual film. I don't see too much contradiction other than Newsville, when the original was pure Los Angeles and Hollywood. But it would fit otherwise.

"Flying is easy, landing is hard" was from the movie too I think.

I like seeing the news footage of Cliff Secord back in the day.

If there was one thing that bugged me it's that the rocket was already pink out of the box. I think either the producers messed up or were hoping fans of the movie wouldn't notice that.

Frank Welker doing double duty as Grandpa Ambrose and Butch the dog.

Nice introduction. ***1/2.

Pilot Error:

Laura and Harley. I see what they did there.

Tesh is annoying.

I love that one of the episode titles in the premiere had the word "Pilot" in it. That's perfect.

The villains were a little too dumb, but it helps to explain how they are taken down by a seven-year-old girl. ***.

Episode Overall: ***1/2.

The Rocketeer "Skyway Robbery / A Doggone Adventure"

Skyway Robbery:

I know it's a preschool show, but the villains are REALLY inferior. Elena of Avalor's villains are fine, as are The Lion Guard's. The only reason the villains are as doofy as they are is so that a seven-year-old girl can believably repeatedly own them. But that's not actually impressive while the villains are as dumb as they are. **1/2.

A Doggone Adventure:

A second female dog lent an extra element to the episode which is good. They are already starting to repeat villains? That is not a good sign.

Didn't much like this either. **1/2.

Episode Overall: **1/2.

The Rocketeer "Ground Control To Rocketeer / Save The Statue"

Ground Control To Rocketeer:

Strong, fast, and cool are pretty good mandates for the new bike.

I love Grandpa Ambrose's design. Frank Welker's voice sounds great with it.

Solid. ***1/2.

Save The Statue:

This one? Not so much.

It's literally week two and this is Laura and Harley's third appearance. It might not be a problem if they weren't so subpar. Harley dressing as a baby was dumb even by preschool standards.

All that said, I DO appreciate the Cliff Secord statue as much as Kit does. I like having it in the background and it's a good reminder of the movie I loved.

But that was problematic. *1/2.

Episode Overall: **1/2.

The Rocketeer "Carnival Caper / Songbird Flies Again"

Carnival Caper:

I don't exactly LIKE Orsino, but it is a good idea to get more villains with varying motivations. ***1/2.

Songbird Flies Again:

Bulldog Cafe. Butch the Bulldog. I just got that.

Is May even allowed to fly? Wouldn't her pilot's license have expired?

Still, it was a sweet cartoon. ****.

Episode Overall: ****.

Maybe it's a broadcast thing. On Disney Now, it just cuts to the theme song.

The Rocketeer "Downhill Derby / Flight Class Heroes"

Downhill Derby:

This Dr. Doodlebug kid has a serious lack of imagination. Instead of creating a snow machine to make it snow so that his go-kart can win the race, maybe he should have, you know, used all of those inventing skills to make a faster go-kart. Dumb kid is dumb. **1/2.

Flight Class Heroes:

The plot related stupidity is less egregious here because it involves little kids, but it's still annoying. **1/2.

Episode Overall: **1/2.

I was wondering, is there anyone here who noticed the Lady and The Tramp reference in the episode "A Doggone Adventure"?

The Rocketeer "Hypnotic Hughesville / The Piggy Bank Caper"

I like Baby Ducks too.

Water was a very convenient cure for the hypnotism. ***.

The Piggy Bank Caper:

Have we met Sylvester before? If not, these are being aired out of order.

That was cute. ****.

Episode Overall: ***1/2.

The Rocketeer "X-Treme Hero / Hot On The Trail"

X-Treme Hero:

Xena is the worst.

I like that the trick Tesh named after Kit is called the "Cloudkicker". This show seems to know its Disney lore. ***1/2.

Hot On The Trail:

Laura and Harley suck because Laura is the precise type of dumb villain who confuses her reflection for another person. The Rocketeer getting the better of her is not an accomplishment. **.

Episode Overall: ***.

I'm out.

I will no longer be watching or reviewing this show. It's not actually bad but I could use an extra half-hour a week for myself. If it had harder ties to other Disney stuff or the Rocketeer canon I could justify sticking around. But as of now I have other things I'd rather do.

I did not expect Valerie to become a villain. Then again, she is full of pride and ego. Given how neither she nor Kit know each other's identities, it'll make their future interactions interesting.

Next week's episode, Recipe For Disaster, is the debut of The Cast Iron Chef in terms of production order, even though it aired after "Runaway Bulldog" , where everyone already knows him. The episodes are airing out of order.

Will there be Rocketeer toys??? I imagine if there are, they'll be previewed at Toy Fair in NYC next month
I'm pretty sure there will be toys. Disney Junior shows generally get a strong initial push for merchandise. Plus, The Rocketeer is an action show, albeit a loose one .

They should file a lawsuit against MeTV Toons for stealing the classic cartoons away from Boomerang. Boomerang found the classic cartoons first.

I will miss your use of Mouse as your pfp, but since your name is LinusFan303, having Linus as your pfp only makes sense.

Happy 8th Anniversary to the Loud House! I still enjoy the show, mostly.
I don't care what anyone says, The Super Friends version of the origin of Batman was pretty effective for 1980s Saturday morning TV. Plus, Alfred telling young Bruce Wayne it's time to go when visiting his parents' graves just tugs at the heartstrings.
