Oh boy!


It's time for Take Your Son to Work Day featuring Wally and Papa!

....and Wally wasn't the type of kid who want to go out his dad on a work day, anyway.

Why? Because it's boring.

Introducing Mr. Boss, played by Jeff Bennet.

I remember this character when I was a kid.

He does look like a stereotypical grumpy businessman, with a hunch for a head lol

However, I do like his voice. He is so conniving and sleazy, yet so grossly amusing. I really do enjoy him.

Also, considering this is Take Your Son to Work Day, I'm surprised he didn't take his son out on that day......or daughter, but we'll get the later seasons MUCH later. Trust me.

(chuckles) Looks like Wally does not want to be associate with these girls.

BTW, why these girls look like these lost characters from Pepper Ann?

Ugh, I remember....that....song.. Now, I don't remember this episode in particular (there another episode featuring that song in Season 2, which I'll get to later), but I unfortunately do remember this....Rainbow Monkeys song when I was a kid. This song triggered my soul.

Look, I get it, Rainbow Monkeys is supposed to be a parody of Care Bears or My Little Pony, but for the love of fuzz, do you have to make a song THAT annoying and sickly sweet?!

Every time that song pops up in this show or even someone singing it, I instantly get triggered. As a kid, I cannot get that song out of my head, and for some reason, it stuck with me. It was a awful time.

So yeah, I effen hated that Rainbow Monkeys song. Hate it then. I hate it now. God, it was so bad.

Unfortunately, the song will continue to pop up in this show, so....yay.

Alright, moving on. I don't want to talk about it anymore.

Numbuh 4: Kuki! We have got to get the girls out of here! Mr Boss is sending them into Pluto!

Girls: Hey! It’s the Rainbow Monkeys video game!! Thank you, Santa!

Me: So much for sending them off to Pluto, am I right?

Me: So, this exists. I don’t remember this episode when I was a kid. So, this is my first time seeing it. I thought it was…meh. It wasn’t bad, but it’s not that good either.

Even though Mr Boss was the main highlight of the episode for me, and there are some moments that did give me a laugh, but it’s nothing to write home about.

Besides that certain annoying song, I thought it was pretty forgettable, and it’s one of those episodes that I wouldn’t come back to.

Why did he betray Sector V in first place? Who knows?! And I honestly don’t care to know.

It’s boring. There’s nothing I can really snark on other it put me to sleep.

Aw man. Poor Abby. I'm not snarking on this by the way, it's just so cruel that this lice did this to the poor girl's hair.

Yikes! The lice completely trashed Numbuh 3's room. I wonder how she feels about it?

Numbuh 3: (demonic voice) I WANT REVENGE!!!

Me: Yeah, pretty badly.

Numbuh 1: Alright, Lice-busters. It's time to take out the trash.

Numbuh 2: Don't you mean, let's get cheesy!

Numbuh 1: Save your jokes, Numbuh 2.

Me: (snickers) Okay, that's funny.

Numbuh 3: You guys can go on without me. I'll handle it myself.

Me: It's so entertaining to see Numbuh 3 trying to mimic Rambo lol.

Me: I thought it was decent. Way better than the last episode, that's for sure. I really did like this episode expanding the interiors of the treehouse because it did give the place alot more lively and very interesting. Some of the humor was very funny, and the lice creatures looks very creative.

Solid episode.

Lizzie: To the very last season of the show?

Numbuh 1: Yes, to the very last season of the show.

Me: Yeah, we'll see these two love-birds stay together to the final season of the show. Ha ha ha, ugh.

Me: Yeah, this is a.....pretty interesting episode, I would say. We get to see Lizzie, and then there's the helmet that just took from Ren and Stimpy, and we get this weird amalgamation of a episode. Not to say the episode was bad, it has its moments, but it is pretty middling for me.

As for the character of Lizzie Devine. I understand alot of people were really polarized by her, even still to this day, but for me, I don't think Lizzie was that bad when she first started out. I thought she was kinda cute. Yeah, she's somewhat annoying, but at least she's tolerable. Lizzie in Season 2-6 on the other hand? OMG, I'm going to snark the living crap out of her, but one season at a time.

Anyways, odd episode, but it was alright. Moving on.

Operation SNARKFEST continues....

….with a fly? Okay.

Nigel wearing a samurai hat and embracing his kiddie side….

…..until he saw a fly, and feeling icky about it.

To be fair, I do emphasize with him since I am very squeamish when it comes to bugs.

Hoagie comes up with a brilliant idea!

A fly costume! NGL, that looks really cool! Main highlight for me.

Kuki is catching the fly like a butterfly!

And having a tea party together. Typical Numbuh 3, but I love it.

Also, is that Sheep over there?

Geez, Wally. You don’t have to be that rough.

Numbuh 4: Oh, Mr. Fly? The SWAT team is calling ya!

Abby was wondering why was this fly was in the treehouse.

Maybe the fly wants to get some fresh air. It’s best to let it go.

Well, that’s the end of the episode….

Oh, so this is a SPY FLY the whole time?

Zionks! I did not see that coming!

And the Delightful Children is watching their every move.

Delightful Children, I love you, but you guys are a bunch of wiredos.

Me: It’s a good episode. Very underrated. It’s a nice tribute to silent cartoons from the Golden Age of Hollywood, but did it in a way that was wacky and clever. It did kept a smile on my face all the way through.

I do like the slice of life elements in the episode because it is a nice break from all the conflict and danger for KND and seeing the kids doing normal every day kid stuff is a nice change of pace. Sometimes, I do wish the series have moments like this, but I digress.

So yeah, two thumbs up for this one.

Here's another episode of Operation SNARKFEST.

This time, it featured characters that were lost characters from Pepper Ann that no one really knows or cares about.

Generic Teen Boy: Are you ready to go to the roller derby tonight, babe?

Generic Teen Girl: I sure am, boo! Also, I’m wondering if that Pepper Ann girl coming tonight.

Nicky: P.A., I heard there’s a roller skating rink party and some teenagers would like to invite you.

Pepper Ann: No way. I’m might be good at skating, but I’m not going to some roller derby with a bunch of teens who are way older than me nor I do even know. Besides, I would look like a laughingstock anyway.

And I’m definitely not going to be crowded with bunch of kids who pretended to be secret agents trying to fight against adults. That would be weird.

Numbuh 1: We have to stop these teenagers to succeed on their master plan!

Generic Teen Girl: Oh, boo-boo. Are we going to have a good time tonight?

Generic Teen Boy: We sure are, sweetie. Trust me.

Numbuh 1: Very suspicious, I see.

Numbuh 1: Oh. It’s just a roller skating party.

Numbuh 1: I thought you guys are creating some diabolical plan.

Generic Teen Girl: You kids have some really strange imaginations.

Numbuh 2: Numbuh 1? What about Splorck The Mustard Cannon?

Numbuh 1: Um, surprise.

Teenagers: Thank you for the treehouse derby, Kids Next Door.

Me: I thought it was a step down from the last episode. Other than the KND looking at teens in a “semi-neutral sense” (I'm using that term very loosely), there’s nothing that I can really say about this episode. It’s pretty dull. The premise felt like a scrapped episode concept for Pepper Ann, and honestly, I think Pepper Ann would’ve done a much better job of doing a roller derby episode than KND was.

Speaking of Pepper Ann, here’s her famous words that completely spoke the truth;

Pepper Ann: “Hazelnut is NOT a KND Operative.”

Truer words, Peppy. Truer words.

Here's....The Boss Baby?

'Kay? Weird.

The Boss Baby: You can be a star! Millions of kids all around the world will love you! What do you say? You want your own TV show?

Numbuh 1: Sure. As long as there is no cheesy scripts, we're in.

Me: (laughing) This is so laughable. It almost feels like you're watching a cheesy 1970's kids TV show. What a great parody.

Numbuh 4: I'm out of here! This place stinks!

The Boss Baby: Well if your TV show didn't work out for ya, then I'm turning ALL of you guys into babies, all thanks to my age-changing cigar!

Me: Um, aren't you too young to even smoke?

The Boss Baby (looks at me glaring): WHO CARES?! I'm an adult!

Numbuh 1: Not gonna happen, tot.

The Boss Baby: (babbles and sniffles)

Executive Man: We'll be taking care of him.

Executive Lady: There there, son.

The Boss Baby: Goo-goo. Ga ga!

Me: Aww, that's nice. But still, did he broke the fourth wall at me?

Numbuh 1: Well, I guess we won't be needing this anymore.

Delight Children: Thank you, Nigel. See you in the season finale. (laughs)

Me: I do remember seeing this episode numerous times when I was a kid. Looking back on it, it was okay. The 1970's kids TV show parody was pretty silly, but enjoyable. The whole thing with the baby was weird, but at least does make sense in the story because of him using the age-changing cigar.

Speaking of the devil, I wonder what the Delightful Children will use that cigar for? Let's just hope they don't smoke.

Other than that, this episode was alright. Moving on.
