The problem is, most of them are pretty much...bland. Zombie actually goes for the lead being snarky, at least.

If Rio is your idea of "best anime of the season" then we definitely differ in that regard. I can think of at least five shows that are at least more competently written and overall more interesting than that mess.

I loved Zombie. It's nice to have a show that I can laugh at for pretty much all of it and still have it's moments of serious.
