Just saw the trailer and I really enjoyed it! I loved the fact that we get to see all different versions of Sonic's friends and now I'm curious to see where this show is going.
When I saw the first set trailers, I was still a bit interested in this show because well, it's Sonic the Hedgehog. I love Sonic the Hedgehog! But after seeing the second trailer, I'm totally sold on this show! I was surprised to see Rouge as apart of the main group since she's usually with...
Just saw the trailer and it looks pretty good. Although, the backgrounds look a bit empty, I do like the animations in this show. I am curious about what this show is going to be all about and how it would tear into the shattered universe thing. Glad that we finally got a release date for this...
I do wonder what characters they will be introducing in the third Sonic movie besides Shadow? Amy Rose would be a good candidate and Rouge the Bat could serve as a close friend to Shadow. The question though is how would they balance so many characters in the third movie without shafting anyone?
I think that this is just a rough draft of what they are doing with the third movie since it's still too early for an official synopsis of the movie, unless they already have a script in hand which would be impossible to do at this point. I don't know if Big or Metal would even show up in the...
Usually, whenever I see plot leaks about any movie, I tend to discredit them unless the movie company that's making the movies themselves are the ones who actually stated what the plot about the movie is all about. And I definitely discredit the leaks if the movie is not coming out until a few...
Honestly, I don't think that newer cartoons are better than older cartoons, just like how older cartoons are not necessarily better than the newer cartoons. Cartoons in general have been around for years, so everyone has grown up with a different set of cartoons and asking whether new cartoons...
I will admit that I am a bit surprised that they are dropping the third Sonic movie in December, as it's competing with Avatar 3. Either Paramount has got a lot of confidence in this property to pull in more numbers or they have big plans for the third movie's story line.
They just recently released some new images for Sonic Prime and they are looking pretty good! Although, I do wonder why these scenes are set during dusk.
I'm actually okay with the movie soundtrack. It sounds pretty fine to me. My only grip with the movie soundtrack is that they keep using popular pop songs like "Uptown Funk" when they could easily make up their own songs, a la Disney.
I don't think that Sonic Prime has anything to do with the movies. It was pretty much announced before the movies became a thought and it seems to be more faithful to the games than the movies were.
Just saw the trailer and I really loved it! I think that Devon Mack did a fantastic job with Sonic's voice and I'm really loving Sonic's personality in this trailer. I hope we get to see more of this trailer later on.
I would love for Keanu Reeves to play Shadow, but I don't know if they can pull that off. Although, given how successful Idris Elba was in the role of Knuckles, it's possible Paramount might choose another big time celebrity to voice Shadow.
Just saw the movie myself and I really enjoyed it! It was such an entertaining and heartwarming film that has lots of references from the games. I really loved how they portrayed Knuckles in this movie as it was great seeing him be serious yet gullible again. I also liked Sonic and Tails'...
Well, at least Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is doing much better than Morbius in terms of the critics ratings. So far, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 currently has a 56% by 25 reviews, while Morbius currently has an 18% by 85 reviews.
I remembered not liking Rocko's Modern Life when I was little, but when I started watching the show as an adult, I started really enjoying the show and also, started to relate a lot to Rocko as a character as he struggles to try to get used to his new hometown after moving from Australia.
Rugrats was originally supposed to be cancelled after 4 seasons, due to Nickelodeon's policies at the time that shows need to end after 65 episodes. But the show did so well in reruns that they brought it back for a few more seasons.
Then there's the incident with what happened with the movie SCOOB! where they basically replaced all the original voice actors from the Scooby Doo franchise with celebrity voice actors. And don't get me started on what's going on with the Mario movie...
I don't see SEGA selling off the franchise anytime soon because:
1) SEGA is a video game company, meaning that the movie side of things isn't their main priority over the games.
2) SEGA would have to be going bankrupt to sell off Sonic. As it stands, SEGA is doing fine as a company and Sonic is...
I am curious to see how the Master Emerald fits into what's going on with Knuckles in the movie. Like you mentioned, the way that Knuckles is saying that it's his destiny to destroy Sonic has me thinking that the Echidna tribe had groomed him into thinking that he needs to destroy Sonic to save...
I think that if Doug was never cancelled on Nickelodeon, it probably would have done well in the reruns and like Rugrats, probably would have been revived on Nickelodeon with another new season. Now whether or not the tone of the show would have been similar to the Disney episodes really...
Sonic is already getting a TV series on Netflix. I think it would be better that if Paramount decided to make a miniseries about the movie, they should show it on Paramount Plus.
