After 15 years of cries, it as today announced that Jetix, the former global children's entertainment brand, will soon make it's grand return...as an independent network COMPLETELY separate from Disney. This new network will be available over-the-air, Freevee, Pluto TV, Tubi, cable, satellite...
I do have a crazy idea for what could have happened had Jetix continued. It probably would have ate up Toon Disney's entire channelspace. Most of those shows that Disney Europe co-produced since SIP's shutdown would have probably aired on Jetix.
At this point, I'm done crying for Cartoon Network to be saved. I've already accepted that it's been too late to save CN for several years at this point. The network died(AGAIN) the moment Steven Universe ended......
Except this time, there's not an Adventure Time or Young Justice or Toonami...
Yeah, Vortexx was a great idea came too late, and the censorship of Justice League Unlimited and Transformers: Prime wasn't really needed. But for the time, it was the last place action cartoons REALLY had the spotlight.
If Vortexx was revived today as a digital subchannel with a FAST...
