Saw this at a midnight screening last night. I can't really remember a lot of it (it was late, I was tired and slightly drunk), but I do remember laughing. A lot. ATHF has been one of my favorite shows since it first came on, so I think the assumption that if you like the show you'll like the...
That is sweet. Love the Army of Darkness vibe. Also, I don't know about the rest of the country, but I know the movie theatre I work at got a trailer for the movie to run in front of Reno 911: Miami. I think its the same one on the AS site, but its still awesome nonetheless.
Didn't someone post a link a couple months back to some fan reviews of the movie from a test screening? I don't remember if it was this forum or not, but I remember reading 2 reviews on AICN; one was positive and one was negative.
In any event, I think they would have revealed a long time ago...
I think I'm in a minority here, but I thought season 2 started out weak and has slowly been returning to form, with last week and this weeks episodes being in the classic VB style I loved from season 1.
Props for bringing Manic Eight Ball Man back. There can never be a cooler villian.
And "I...
This episode was meh. Shake dancing all the time was kinda funny. The best line came from Carl though.
"Why are you dancin'? You're poor."
I found that to be really, really funny.
This episode gets props simply for referencing Pulp Fiction and Monty Python.
Otherwise this episode was meh. A good premise that they ruined with the shootout. The rich white kids are the heroes. Surprise.
They need to focus on Huey more.
It was alright. The dream sequence was definitley cool.
One thing that's really bothering me is, if the old man really was blind, why the hell was he driving?
I know this is just a show, but it really bothers me. That's dumber than the fight being sanctioned. Of course, I did miss the...
I think it was overused, but I kinda took it as mocking the way society perceives appropriate usage of the word. "Oh, it's OK as long as the people saying it are black. Otherwise its wrong." I took the shows usage of it, among other stereotypes, as mocking that perception.
People don't know...
I don't think its censored, I think thats the way they wanted it to be. I didn't really hear anything that sounded censored to me anyways. Its just a clean record. Is that so weird for a hip-hop act?
Someone once described Andy Kaufman to me as everything he did was to amuse himself. He really was only interested in making himself laugh, and I always thought that seemed like a good way to describe him. So in that respect it could be that a lot of Adult Swim humor is not necessarily funny to...
Stewie as Jiminy Glick = LOL :D
I seriously that was the stand alone funniest gag of the new season. They nailed that in my opinion.
Overall an OK ep, like pretty much all of the new season.
This is the best news I've heard all weekend!! I just hope it doesn't cost a lot. I never bought the DVD's that are out now mainly because I can't justify spending $25 for 2 episodes (especially when for the same price I can get an entire season of Home Movies :D). Still, this is awesome.
