“Tome of the Unkown” won the best animation short film last month at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and now Cartoon Network is making it into a mini-series called “Over the Garden Wall”, about two brothers named Wirt and Greg who get lost in a mysterious land and are befriended by a wise old man and a bluebird who both help them. Elijah Wood voices the role of Wirt, Collin Dean [“Adventure Time”] is Greg and Beatrice the Bluebird is voiced by Melanie Lynskey [“Two and a Half Men”].
“Over the Garden Wall” will have 10 episodes which are expected to premiere in Autumn 2014.
