Disney’s D23 Expo is imminent, arriving the weekend of September 9. For those who haven’t been paying attention, D23 is the event where the mega-conglomerate reveals everything it has planned out for the next YEAR. If this year’s D23 is anything like the last few, it will be a fire hose of announcements, too fast and powerful for any mortal reporter to keep up with.

If you doubt me, the exhaustive full schedule has been reproduced below. Friday at 3:30 PM will be the big Disney & Pixar Animation Showcase where new animated movies will be announced for the first time, and those we know about will be revealed in full. Satuday at 10 AM some big Marvel, Lucasfilm and 20th Century Studios projects will be unveiled at once, in one panel. Saturday at 3:30 the Disney+ panel will cover everything the studio is producing for its popular streaming service in 2023 and beyond. Saturday at 6 PM we’ll finally learn what “Zootopia+” means.

Here’s the one we’re most curious about: On Saturday there will be “A Celebration of Disney’s Encanto,” where the crew behind the popular film will discuss behind-the-scenes stories of how it was all made. Now, why would they be holding a press meeting for a movie that’s already been out for a year? Could it be that something new relating to it is about to be announced? They do mention “some surprises.” Hmm.

There is much, much more than this. Disney’s full D23 schedule has been reproduced below. As the one who has to keep track of all this, I look forward to a weekend of total exhaustion.
