Owl House is a very very very fine house — at least from the looks of it. Disney Television Animation blew the doors off their highly anticipated series today with a brand-new, 90-second trailer, a release date, and a greenlight for a second season.

Created by Dana Terrace, The Owl House centers around Luz, a Latina who discovers a portal to a magical land called the Boiling Isles. There, she takes up residence in the titular Owl House and meets her new friends Eda the Owl Lady, a witch in training, and The King Of The Demons, who wears a skull over his face and deeply resents being called cute (so Luz does it all the time). If the trailer is any indication, expect a lot of Futurama-type visual gags involving unusual sights and characters.

The voice cast includes Sarah-Nicole Robles (Boss Baby) as Luz, Wendie Malick (American Housewife) as Eda and Alex Hirsch (yes, that Alex Hirsch) as King. You can also expect to hear Matthew Rhys (The Americans), Isabella Rossellini (Shut Eye), Tati Gabrielle (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Issac Ryan Brown (Raven’s Home), Mae Whitman (Parenthood), Bumper Robinson (The Game), Parvesh Cheena (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) and Eden Riegel (All My Children).

If The Owl House has scripts sharp enough to match its grandiose premise, it could be the next Gravity Falls, or at least the next Star Vs. The legendary tale begins January 10 on Disney Channel.
