WSJ Posts Art and Cast List for "Last Airbender: Legend of Korra" (UPDATED)

The Wall Street Journal‘s Speakeasy weblog has posted an exclusive image of the title character from The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra, the follow-up series to Avatar: The Last Airbender. The article also states that the series is slated to premiere “next year.” Check out Toonzone’s earlier coverage of the series here.

UPDATED March 7, 2011: The Speakeasy weblog has posted a cast list for the new show, naming Janet Varney as the title character and J.K. Simmons as Tenzin, the son of Avatar: The Last Airbender‘s Aang and Katara. Other cast members include:

Kiernan Shipka as Jinora
Daniel Dae Kim as Hiroshi Sati
David Faustino as Mako
Seychelle Gabriel as Asami
Lance Henriksen as Lieutenant
