Another week, another roundup of anime release date news. Here are the upcoming releases:
- We’ve known for a long time that Dragonball Daima premieres in October in Japan. Now we have a specific release date in October 11. Still no news about a simulcast or simuldub.
- The hit manga Oshi no Ko!, which has already gotten a hit anime adaptation with two seasons, will also have a live action television and film adaptation. The television series premieres in Japan November 28. The film opens December 30. Still no news on an international release.
- Light novel adaptation Even Given the Worthless “Appraiser” Class, I’m Actually the Strongest will debut January 2025.
- A live action adaptation of the superhero manga Wingman will debut on October 23 at 12:30 AM Japan Standard Time. No news on an international release yet.
- Three compilation films of the OVA series Gundam: The Origin will screen in Japanese theaters September 13. An international release has not yet been announced.
- An adaptation of the educational manga KagakuXBoken Survival will debut in Japan on October 5.
- A compilation film of the music anime BanG Dream! It’s MyGo!!!! will release in Japan on September 27. No word on an international realease.
- Golf anime Tonbo! will have a second season debut on October 5. The anime will stream on Amazon Prime in the US.
- The anime adaptation of the manga For Some Reason I Started Living with a NEET Kunoichi will debut January 2025.
- The manga Trillion Game will have an anime adaptation on October 3. It is confirmed to stream on Crunchyroll in the US. Trailer here:
- The next Space Battleship Yamato (or Star Blazers as the dub is known as) film Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199 will release in Japanese theaters November 22. The last recent Yamato film has not yet been licensed, so it is unknown if the US will get a release of any kind. Teaser here,
