Ratchet and Clank have lost little in their transition from video games to the big screen. The trailer for their first animated feature film will debut theatrically tomorrow, playing before the Goosebumps movie, but its online release happened to be today. Let’s check out what the Lomax and robot are up to.
The film stars John Goodman, Paul Giamatti and Sylvester Stallone, but none of those people are replacing Ratchet or Clank (or Captain Qwark) — they will thankfully retain their original voice actors. And there WILL be a sheep gun used at some point.
Ratchet and Clank comes out April 26, 2016. A new Ratchet and Clank game will be released for Playstation 4 on the same day (natch) that serves as a remake of the first game as well as a tie-in to the movie.
