Undoubtedly pleased with the response they received with their release of the “Wonder Woman” movie, Warner Bros. has announced that they will be bumping up the release date for the sequel, tentatively titled “Wonder Woman 2”. Originally scheduled for a December 13, 2019 release, Warner Bros. has now moved that release date up to November 1, 2019 [replacing another untitled DC Comics movie they had scheduled for that date]. Additionally, Gal Gadot is locked in to reprise her role as the title character [Brett Ratner rumors being tossed aside].
Currently, “Wonder Woman” has brought in $822 million for the year – making it the seventh-highest grossing film in the world – and was the highest grossing movie of the summer, domestically [chalking up $413 million].
This weekend also has Gadot appearing as Wonder Woman in the “Justice League” movie.
