Superhero Hype reports that a trailer and cast have been announced for the next DC Animated feature film, Son of Batman. Based on Grant Morrison’s story, Son of Batman centers on the Caped Crusader’s son Damian, whose mission is to kill Deathstroke for murdering Ra’s Al Ghul. The Dark Knight must intervene Damian’s mission of vengeance.
The film features the voices of Jason O’Mara reprising his role of Batman from Justice League: War, Morena Baccarin (V, Homeland, and the voice of Black Canary on Justice League Unlimited) as Talia Al Ghul, Giancarlo Esposito (Revolution, Breaking Bad) as Ra’s Al Ghul, David McCallum (The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) as Alfred, Xander Berkeley (Captain Atom from Superman/Batman: Public Enemies) as Kirk Langstrom, Thomas Gibson (Dharma & Greg, Criminal Minds) as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke the Terminator, and Stuart Allan (Rise of the Guardians) as Damian Wayne.
Son of Batman will hit stores in Spring 2014.
