Via Deadline, Tom Welling’s Superman from Smallville has joined the cast for the upcoming Arrowverse crossover, Crisis on Infinite Earths. Welling will be alongside his fellow Supermans Tyler Hoechlin, who currently plays Superman on Supergirl, and Brandon Routh, who played Superman in Superman Returns and currently plays Ray Palmer/The Atom on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Routh is expected to play both Superman and The Atom for the special event.

The Crisis event already has even more fan Easter Eggs with the addition of Welling which will include the cast from Black Lightning, Kevin Conroy from Batman: The Animated Series playing Bruce Wayne live on screen, the return of Jonah Hex reprised by Johnathon Schaech, and Burt Ward from the live action 60s Batman series in a yet unknown role.
The 5-part miniseries will start airing at the end of this Decmber with 3 episodes with the remaining 2 episodes set to air in January.
