Super Mario 3D All-Stars Gets New Trailer

Super Mario 3D All-Stars

There is no doubt in anyone’s minds that when it comes to the success of Nintendo, it all really started with Mario. And over the now 35 years of his life, Mario has evolved from a simple Jumpman, to the most recognizable video game character in the world, and one of the most recognizable characters ever! And that’s saying something. As noted by Nintendo earlier this month, the 35th anniversary will be celebrated with the release of Super Mario 3D All-Stars for the Nintendo Switch.

The original Super Mario All-Stars featured various classic 2D Mario titles like the first three Super Mario Bros games, the lost levels, and more. And now, with Super Mario 3D All-Stars, players will get to revisit Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy. Three all-time classic 3D Mario titles that really helped push the limits of what the beloved plumber can do. And for those saying, “Wasn’t there another 3D title?” That would be Super Mario 3D World, and that’s coming out next year with bonus content via “Bowser’s Fury”. So stay tuned for more on that.

To further celebrate the upcoming release of the package title, Nintendo has released a new trailer for the game:

So as you can see, the games look good, and it’ll be fun to see what they have in story for those just playing them, and those who want to master them.

Of course, these games (plus the upcoming port of 3D World) have many gamers what’s next for Mario in the large scale. Because Super Mario Odyssey is one of the best games on the Switch and it’s still selling rather well. Many hoped that Nintendo would have a NEW Mario game this year, but apparently that was not in the cards. But could it be coming soon?

Only time will tell, but we do know that Super Mario 3D All-Stars comes out this week on the 18th!
