After 14 years and billions and billions of krabby patty’s made and sold, SpongeBob is unceremoniously fired by greedy Mr. Krabs during a brand-new episode, “SpongeBob, You’re Fired!” Premiering Monday, Nov., 11, at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT), SpongeBob is loses his job in an attempt to build his profit margins at the Krusty Krab. Unable to just “do nothing,” SpongeBob decides to go back to work doing anything, anywhere.

Beginning Nov. 6, fans can visit nick.com/spongebob to play a brand-new game, SpongeBob, You’re Fired. In this time management game, players must accurately cook diners’ orders while juggling each server’s impatience level in order to keep everyone happy as possible. In addition, fans can also check out the SpongeBob SquarePants: Get To Work! Collection on iTunes starting Nov. 12. The special collection features eight tales including “SpongeBob, You’re Fired!,” SpongeBob’s visit to the Fry Cook Hall of Fame, Mr. Krabs’ weekly card game gone terribly wrong, Squidward and SpongeBob’s unemployment, a visit from the Krusty Krab’s original fry cook, and more!

SpongeBob SquarePants was October’s top animated series with kids K2-11 (4.8/1.6M). Since its launch in July 1999, SpongeBob SquarePants has emerged as a pop culture phenomenon. The series has been the most-watched animated program with kids 2-11 for more than 12 consecutive years, and over the past several years, it has averaged more than 100,000,000 total viewers every quarter across all Nickelodeon networks. As the most widely distributed property in Viacom history, SpongeBob is seen in over 170 countries and translated in more than 35 languages. The character-driven cartoon chronicles the nautical and sometimes nonsensical adventures of SpongeBob, an incurable optimist and earnest sea sponge, and his undersea friends.
