Space Channel 5 VR Kinda Funky News Flash Will [Finally] Launch

After enduring a delay from the original planned December 2019 launch date, the VR version of SEGA’s funky dance animator “Space Channel 5 VR – Kinda Funky News Flash” will finally launch on February 25, 2020 [in North America, February 26, 2020 in Europe] for PlayStation VR.

It is the 25th century and funky dancing humans are evidently still in charge of the universe, so Space Channel 5’s top reporter, Ulala, is hosting a news report on mysterious dancing incident involving the aliens known as “Morolians” that forces people to dance. Fight against the invading aliens by dancing and receiving more views and helping Ulala win the ultimate dance battle.

First released by SEGA just over 20 years ago, “Space Channel 5 VR – Kinda Funky News Flash” empowers your inner dancing soul with a mission is to protect the earth against invading Morolians alongside space reporter Ulala. You will accomplish this by mastering [or attempting to master…] a series of life saving dance poses while dancing to funky beats originating from Space Channel 5. The more poses you strike, more viewer ratings you get for yourself and Ulala, and the better chance you have to save the Universe!
