Ah, good, the number of compatible titles with the XBox One’s backwards compatibility service has been expanded! Sixteen additional 360 games now work with the new console, in addition to the 104 the feature launched with not too long ago. Halo: Reach now works with XBox One, as does Deux Ex, Portal, Fable III and Hydro Thunder. Microsoft says that since backwards compatibility was added to the One’s list of features on November 12, over 9 million hours have been cumulatively logged by people playing Xbox 360 games, with the most popular discs being Fallout 3, Gears of War 3, Just Cause 2, Assassin’s Creed II, and Dirt 3.
Here’s the full list of newcomers. Keep in mind the list will continue to expand. Only one of the top five requests on XBox Feedback (Halo: Reach) has been satisfied so far:
- Braid
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution
- Doritos Crash Course
- Fable III
- Halo: Reach
- Hydro Thunder
- Iron Brigade
- Kane & Lynch 2
- Motocross Madness
- Ms. Pac Man
- Peggle
- Portal: Still Alive
- Spelunky
- Splosion Man
- Ticket to Ride
- Zuma’s Revenge
Sorry if you were looking for Red Dead Redemption; it still isn’t an option. But hey, who’s ready to play some Doritos Crash Course???
