If it seems like Lara Croft has been around forever, then be prepared for her to be around a bit longer as Square Enix has announced that “Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition” will launch next month – on November 5, 2019, specifically – for both consoles and Windows PC/Steam.
“Shadow of theĀ Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition” gives you the base game plus all seven post-launch DLC’s – meaning you can have the final chapter of Lara’s origin story and you can go through every tomb while having the ability to download every available outfit, skill and weaponry. This includes all Croft Edition bonuses as well as the Definitive Edition’s “Croft Fitness” outfit.
If you happen to already own “Shadow of the Tomb Raider – Season Pass” then you just sit back and relax as “Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition” is automatically upgraded to you on November 5 – but then you will have to quit relaxing long enough to manually download the update.
If you merely own “Shadow of the Tomb Raider” then, beginning on November 5, you may purchase “Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Extra Content Bundle” as it will replace “Shadow of the Tomb Raider – Season Pass”.
The Stadia version of the game will launch later in November.
