SDCC 2017: The Tick Takes Over

Amazon’s version of “The Tick” will be attempting a takeover next month at the 2017 San Diego Comic Con as a “Tick Takeover” – a replica of the upcoming series’ warehouse set will be located across the street from the SDCC 2017 main buildings.

In addition to the replica warehouse set, there will also be a scavenger hunt and a 20-foot animatronic version of “The Tick”‘s head that fans will be allowed to control.

All 10 first-season episodes of Amazon’s “The Tick” are currently scheduled to be released on August 25, 2017.

For those unaware of the history, “The Tick” was originally a comic book hero before making an appearance in 1994 on Fox as an animated series and then later in 2001 as a single season television series starring Patrick Warburton as The Tick.

The Amazon version of “The Tick” series stars Peter Serafinowicz as The Tick and Griffin Newman as an accountant named Arthur. The series also stars Yara Martinez, Jackie Earle Haley, Valorie Curry and Brendan Hines.

The 2017 San Diego Comic Con runs from July 20-23, 2017 at the San Diego Convention Center.
