Adult Swim will add Robot Chicken, a stop-motion animated series from actor/producer Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, to its lineup on February 20, Cartoon Network said today. It will air on Sundays at 11:30pm (ET/PT).
The series will satirize such targets as Quentin Tarantino and The Real World, using action figures, miniature sets, and elaborate costumes and props. Green and Senreich lead the writing staff and will also perform on the voicetrack. Celebrities slated to lend their voices to the series include Scarlett Johannson, Burt Reynolds, Ryan Seacrest, Mark Hamill and Macauley Culkin.
