Given the current state of the world, many Disney parks are closed because of the pandemic that is still gripping the planet and making it risky to go to places where there are large groups of people because of the chance of being infected. Despite that, Disney is still prepping for the re-opening of its parks by showing off some of the new rides that’ll be there when people are allowed to return. And one of them is based on the beloved Pixar animated film Ratatouille.
As revealed on Twitter, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will have you teaming up with the legendary rat and going through the restaurant of the film where you’ll be seeing old friends and great food. Check out the behind the scenes video of the ride below.
Just shared on @ABCNetwork, check out this behind-the-scenes look of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure where guests will rendezvous with Chef Remy through Gusteau's bustling Paris restaurant at the France Pavilion at EPCOT at @WaltDisneyWorld Resort! Coming 2021. pic.twitter.com/1yZUW0kR3G

You might think it odd to give a park ride to Remy and his film even though it came out quite a bit ago, but in regards to Disney, time is just a number. The Pixar films still rank as some of the best animations ever put on screen regardless of how old they are. So doing a ride about the cooking rodent now is no different than them doing it a year after the hit film arrived.
Plus, Disney is working on other adventures as well to come to their Disney Parks so you can expect more revelations soon.
That being said, as noted, there are shut downs in the realm of Disney because of the global pandemic that are prohibiting guests from going to the parks and checking the new rides out. The Disney CEO is adamant that they should be allowed to open but only time will tell if that happens.
Disney has had to make changes to their animation lineups because of the pandemic, including going and pushing the next Pixar film Soul to Christmas Day and launching it on Disney+ exclusively.
