Pokemon TV App Now Includes The Latest Season

The Pokemon TV series, now old enough to buy a gun, moved on to its latest season last February, yet the Pokemon TV app had not — until now. That’s why The Pokemon Company sent us this press release informing the masses that episodes from the current season of Pokemon, which is called XYZ, are now available to watch on the app.

In addition, the Pokemon TV app now boasts some new features: videos can now be rated, bookmarked and resumed at the point where you left off, and stored offline for future viewing (for up to one week). For further details, here’s what The Pokemon Company had to say.

The Pokémon TV app has been updated with new features and easier navigation. Available for download at no cost for the iPhone, iPad, Kindle Fire, and Android devices, the Pokémon TV app is the best way for fans to keep up with Pokémon movies, special animated features, and episodes, including the latest season, Pokémon the Series: XYZ.

The Pokémon TV app update includes:

  • My Channel: When fans start watching a video, it is automatically saved to their channel, making it easy to resume viewing at a later time. Recently completed videos will also stay in their channel.
  • Downloadable Content: Fans without network access can still enjoy their favorite Pokémon content. With the updated app, viewers can mark one episode or movie for offline viewing at their convenience. The video will be stored on their device for one week before it is automatically removed.
  • Rate Videos: With this fun feature, Pokémon fans can rate each video after they’ve finished watching it. Their score contributes to an average rating for the video.
  • Push Notifications: Viewers can now find out when new movies and episodes have been added to the Pokémon TV app with convenient push notifications.

Pokémon the Series: XYZ, the newest season of Pokémon animation, debuted in February. New episodes can be viewed all year long on the Pokémon TV app shortly after they air every Saturday morning on Cartoon Network.
