"Plastic Man" Coming to DVD (Updated)


Tvshowsondvd.com reports that Warner is bringing the first stretchable super hero in Plastic Man: The Complete Collection on DVD September 1st.

Follow the adventures of Plastic Man as he take on the world’s kookiest villians along with friends Penny and Bad Luck Hula Hula.

Plastic Man was produced by Ruby-Spears Enterprises, and aired on ABC in 1979 as part of The Plastic Man Comedy/Adventure Show. The show features the voices of Michael Bell (Duke from G.I. Joe, Zan, Gleek & Riddler from Superfriends, and Grouchy from The Smurfs) as Plastic Man, Melendy Britt (She-Ra from She-Ra: Princess of Power, Batgirl from The New Adventures of Batman, and Princess Aura from Flash Gordon) as Penny and the Chief, and Joe Baker as Bad Luck Hula Hula.

The 4-disc set will contain all 35 episodes and contains a featurette of the character, and the never before seen pilot episode “Puddle Trouble”, which features the voice of Tom Kenny (the voice of Spongebob Squarepants and Plastic Man from Batman: The Brave and the Bold) as Plastic Man.

Plastic Man: The Complete Collection will stretch into stores on September 1st, 2009.

UPDATE August 12th:

Tvshowsondvd.com reports that Plastic Man: The Complete Collection will be delayed until October 20th, 2009. No reason was given for the change of date.
