Is a new Mortal Kombat game coming? What do we know so far?
Mortal Kombat is one of the most famous fighting game franchises in the world. And the success of the last title seemed to be a good indication that we’d be getting another one. Sure enough, a voice actor named José Eduardo Garza Escudero claims that he was hired to work on Mortal Kombat 11, and that he was going to voice Kung Lao and Reptile in the game, but, was later removed.
“Well finally I confirm that the ‘professionals’ of Pink Noise decided to remove my characters from Mortal Kombat 11,” reads a Google translation of Escudero’s tweet. “How sad that a company that wanted a lot ends up making decisions that affect both you, the consumers. Goodbye Kung Lao and Reptile.”
After word of this spread, he had to walk back his statements a bit, but it does seem like he’s being honest that Mortal Kombat 11 is coming in some fashion. Maybe it’ll be revealed at The Game Awards on December 6th?
