A flood of new announcements regarding Sony properties came out of their press conference at the Paris Games Week event. For one thing, we have a new trailer for Gravity Rush 2.
The original Gravity Rush was a PS Vita launch title, and since it was the flagship game for a doomed handheld, not many people got to play it — which is a shame, because as this trailer proves, it’s a whole lot of fun. Gravity Rush involves manipulating gravity to accomplish goals: heroine Kat can make herself lighter (to jump great distances) or heavier (to put the smack on enemies).
You can see how it works here — this trailer is entirely 90 seconds of gameplay footage. If you never played the original Gravity Rush and don’t want to buy a Vita just for it, Sony will be re-releasing the first game for PS4 on February 9, 2016. It’ll be a digital-only release and cost $29.99. As for the sequel, it’s coming to Playstation 4 sometime in 2016.
