Netflix Greenlights “Trollhunters” Season 2

DreamWorks Animation and Netflix have announced that Guillermo del Toro’s Trollhunters will be returning for a second season of 13 episodes. The season is scheduled to premiere later in 2017, but an exact premiere date was not announced. The official synopsis states that in the next season, “Jim ventures deeper into the Troll world to battle the vicious leader of the Darklands, while his team works to maintain order in the human world.” A new poster was also released, showing Jim in his snazzy new Trollhunter armor.
