My Hero Academia Promo Teases Issue With One For All

My Hero Academia Season 5

My Hero Academia Season 5 took quite a while to come to life. Mainly because of the global pandemic slowing down production in various ways. But now, it’s been shown off for about two months now and fans are happier than ever to be back in the world of UA Academy and with Class 1-A. The current arc that is being shown off in the anime is a join-training exercise between Class 1-A and 1-B and the matches that have been done so far have been intense and surprising, and it doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon…

By that, we mean that the next subbed episode of My Hero Academia will feature Deku’s team against the remaining Class 1-B students and Shinso, and that is the last fight in this exercise. Many have been wanting to see Deku in action for a while, and now they’ll get their chance. But…as the promo for the episode that arrives today shows…not everything is going to be as simple as you’d think.

Yes, there appears to be something “wrong” with One For All, and it’s going to rear its head in this episode. This actually ties into the first true trailer for the season when something apparently went wrong with One For All and Ochaco called out to Deku with clear panic in her voice.

Is something bad going to happen to Deku? Is this a “glitch” that’ll be able to be remedied easily? And will the rest of his team be able to win the exercise without him? These are the questions that fans are going to be asking as this episode goes on.

And once this arc is done, another major arc is going to begin. One that focuses on the League of Villains and a new threat that they are going to have to face…
