Multiversus Gets Cinematic Trailer

You might have noticed that there has been some weird things going on in terms of fighting games as of late. Mainly in that there seems to be a LOT of companies making fighting games of their characters for better or for worse. You know of Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl for example, and now, there’s Multiversus. A game that is all about the various Warner Bros properties coming together in a free-to-play scrap that is definitely something you need to see to believe.

The game is actually about to go into a closed Alpha, and to celebrate it, they’ve released a cinematic trailer to help sell why you should get it. As you can see, the trailer focuses on certain pairs of characters working together after being transported to the fight world.

With pairings including Batman and Shaggy, Bugs Bunny and Arya Stark, Ganthet and Jake the Dog, Harley Quinn and Taz (a match made in heaven), and to the joy of man fans, Superman and the Iron Giant. Check it out below.

As you can see, the trailer, and the voice acting, is actually incredibly high-quality, which is not something you’d think you’d see from such a game as this. The 2v2 gameplay also looks like it’ll be interesting as you’ll want to pair the right characters to get the best results.

In regards to the Alpha, that’ll happen on the 19th until the end of the month, and as the tweet notes, the Beta for the game will come out in July, meaning that fans will have to wait a bit longer for the title to come out.

There are still a lot of mysteries about the game, including the full extent of the roster. Taz, the Iron Giant, and Velma from Scooby-Doo were all revealed for the first time in this trailer. But no doubt there will be more.
