Are you eager to move out? Wait, not that kind of moving out – the other kind – the kind that involves heavy lifting and sometimes curse words being uttered? If you are prepared to lift those boxes, then “Moving Out” is coming your way – via Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – on April 28, 2020.
In “Moving Out”, you will be a newly-hired certified mover, or if you prefer the fancy-pants name – a Furniture Arrangement & Relocation Technician – for the Smooth Moves moving company, as you prepare to take on moving jobs all across the busy town of…wait for it…Packmore [hardy har har].
You can choose to move all by yourself or you can recruit someone to assist you in your moving adventures [and it will not cost you a six-pack of beer nor a large pepperoni pizza]. Among the recruits you have available to you are Normal Human Being Female, Toaster Head Person, Chameleon Head Person and Cracked Potted Plant Head Person. A four-person co-op mode is also available.
The goal is to deliver items in the fastest times possible without damaging them in the process. That means you can toss furniture around, over or even through obstacles as long as it results in faster times. Aside from that, the fastest way between two points may not always be the fabled straight line, so a bit of creativity may be involved in moving your furniture from Point A and Point B.
Along the way, you and/or your movers can encounter several different destinations ranging from the typical suburbs to chaotic farms and even haunted houses.
