Have you been enjoying the retro trip Capcom’s been taking Mega Man fans on with the Mega Man Legacy Collections for PS4 and Switch? Good news then…the tour isn’t over yet. What’s next?

Both Mega Man’s original nine-title run and Mega Man X’s run have been covered….but Zero had a long line of titles released for portable systems, so it’s now his turn. The just-announced Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection contains these six games:

  • Mega Man Zero (Game Boy Advance)
  • Mega Man Zero 2 (Game Boy Advance)
  • Mega Man Zero 3 (Game Boy Advance)
  • Mega Man Zero 4 (Game Boy Advance)
  • Mega Man ZX (Nintendo DS)
  • Mega Man ZX Advent (Nintendo DS)

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection brings the Zero and ZX series’ challenging boss battles, fast-paced platforming, and precise combat from hand-held to full-sized screens for the first time. Nostalgic players can choose to play using the original sprite art, or they can bash some bots using the new optional HD-smoothing filters. New players looking to cut a path through the Zero and ZX series’ stories can also use the optional Casual Scenario mode to reduce each game’s difficulty, and Save-Assist system to create save points mid-mission for a more approachable narrative experience.

There’s also plenty of extras on the side: an in-game gallery contains over 600 pieces of original production art from each series, and a robust music player plays tracks both from the actual games and in new arrangements. There’s also the mysterious Z-Chaser Challenge Mode, which Capcom says they’ll reveal more about at a later time.

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection will be out for Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, XBox One and PC via Steam on January 21, 2020. Both physical and digital copies will be sold, at a price of $29.99.
