Marvel Studios To Host Animaiton Panel At San Diego Comic-Con

Marvel's What If...? Season 2

San Diego Comic-Con is arguably going to be the biggest it’s been in literal years. Mainly because the last two years have been “toned down” because of the global pandemic and the need to be safety over everything else. However, with things in a state where Cons are welcoming back the large amounts of people and vendors, the time is come to have the major panels back and make some big announcements. And you know that Marvel Studios is going to try and do that.

There is already a lot of talk about Marvel Studios doing big things with their live-action films, including making a big reveal for the second Black Panther movie in Wakanda Forever. However, according to a tweet, they’re also going to show off a lot more via their animation selection:

As the picture implies, one of the things that they are going to show off for sure is the return of X-Men 97, the beloved animated series that arguably had one of the best representations of the X-Men…ever. The series is coming back with familiar and new voices and fans are very eager to see what is going on with it.

The other thing that will very likely be shown off at the show is the second season of What If…? After all, that was a big part of the first wave of shows from the MCU on Disney+ and it remains the only MCU-animated series on its block. Season 2 has already had some teases about what’s to come, including more from the beloved Captain Carter, as well as a story about Gamora that was cut from Season 1.

And for all we know, Marvel Studios might just go and announce another project that could surprise fans and expand things even further. We’ll just have to wait and see.
