The story isn’t over! Kingdom Hearts 3 comes back to ReMind you of its convoluted world early next year. Square Enix revealed the release date Friday evening, and it varies depending on which console you prefer. If you played Kingdom Hearts 3 on Playstation 4, then you can get ReMind on January 23. If you prefer XBox One for your Sora fix, you’ll receive the DLC on February 25.
Along with the release info, Square brought forth a new trailer, and there IS some surprising material in it. We’re talking specifically about a PLAYABLE KAIRI. Why did it take until the post-release add-on chapter of the final game in the trilogy to see this happen? We don’t know how long you’ll be able to control the character, but you can play as Kairi in at least ONE scene.
Guess who else is back? Aerith, Yuffie, Squall, and the other employees of Twilight Town, after a weird absence in the main game. Maybe the former two were off filming scenes for their remake.
Re Mind – the other tale that unfolded during the climax of KINGDOM HEARTS III. Determined to rescue Kairi, Sora travels to the Keyblade Graveyard a short time before the final battle was to take place. Lacking a corporeal form, he traces the hearts of the seven guardians of light. Through experiencing their personal battles firsthand, Sora is about to discover truths that he has never before imagined.
Escape into Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind this January/February on two popular consoles.
