Introducing The Call Of Duty Companion App

Do you and your friends play a lot of Call of Duty? There’s now a specialized app for you. How does Activision’s new Call of Duty Companion App, which launched today, enhance your game?

The app watches your gameplay patterns and will give you personalized tips to improve your game. A Weekly Action Report gives you performance stats from the previous week, and a Weekly Briefing with suggestions, tips and tricks. The News tab tells you what’s coming up next in WWII or Black Ops 4.

The app also keeps track of your friends and their own performance — their accomplishments, achievements and battle stats are displayed with clear graphs. You can also use the app to form a squad of up to 20 players — doing so will help you earn in-game exclusive rewards by completing weekly objectives as a squad.

The only thing the app can’t do is play Call of Duty, but you knew that.

“The Call of Duty Companion App is something that we are very excited for players to use to enhance their gameplay experience,” says Gina Hope, Senior Director of Marketing Technology at Activision. “From connecting you with friends and fellow players, to providing personalized match analysis to checking out your loadouts and competing in challenges with your own squad, it’s a new way for players to engage with the game and the community.”

The Call of Duty Companion App is free on the App Store and Google Play.
