Illumination Entertainment [“Despicable Me 2”] in conjunction with Universal Pictures has announced their newest upcoming 3D animation film project which, for now is known as “Untitled Pets Movie” and will have Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart in its voice cast. The plot revolves around Louis C.K. as the preferred dog of a Manhattan apartment owner who is suddenly threatened by a new arrival of a mongrel [Stonestreet]. The doggy duo eventually find themselves on the mean streets of NYC where they encounter a little white bunny [Hart] who is the leader of a gang of abandoned animals intent on getting back at humans.
“Pets” is currently scheduled to be released on February 12, 2016.
