Just how many superhero characters will be under the rights of Marvel Studios via Fox Deal? How soon can they be used?
Despite not technically owning the movie rights to them yet, many are excited to see what Marvel does when they have both the X-Men and Fantastic Four universes back under their banner. And for the head of Marvel Studios, it can’t come soon enough:
“The truth is I’m excited for all of them,” Kevin Feige told MTV. “And it’s not just the marquee names, you know? There are hundreds of names on those documents, on those agreements. The fact that Marvel is as close as we may ever get now to having access to all of the characters is something I’ve been dreaming about for my almost 20 years at Marvel. It’s very exciting.”
Feige also said that the stories could be starting to form in regards to new films in the next six months.
Of course, 2019 is going to be a big year for the studio regardless of the X-Men/FF additions. Carol Danvers is going to make her live-action debut. Avengers: Endgame is coming and the world is waiting, then Spider-Man Far From Home is set to excite the box office too.
