Apparently finding themselves with a surplus of Halloween booty, Activision Blizzard [proprietors of that little “Call of Duty” franchise] have entered the mobile gaming market in a big way, with a $5.9 billion purchase of King Digital – makers of “Candy Crush” [this year’s “Angry Birds” of the mobile gaming market].

With the purchase, Activision Blizzard gets the touted 500 million active users in 196 countries “Candy Crush” is purported to have.
