It’s a busy time in the world of WB Montreal. The team is hard at work promoting the upcoming title Gotham Knights, which will arrive in just two weeks. To celebrate this, a new gameplay launch trailer has arrived, and it showcases everything you have to expect from the title. Including all four main heroes getting shown off with their abilities, the villains being shown, and more. If you don’t recall, the plot of the game is that Batman has died, and his death triggers a “Code Black” for the Bat-Family, who must now rally together to save Gotham from the villains who wish to corrupt it, and an ancient enemy hoping to re-emerge at last.
Something that can’t be undersold for this game is that all four members of the family you play as, Nightwing, Red Hood, Tim Drake’s version of Robin, and Batgirl, are all different in terms of their combat skills. They use different weapons and techniques to get the job done. That’s why WB Montreal encourages players to swap between these four as they play; that way, they can see who “gels” with them the best or just see how they tackle missions differently than the others. Plus, don’t forget about the co-op!

There is one word of warning we must give you, however. The game is in the promoting stage right now as we noted. But Gotham Knights has already had some leaks due to an art book that WB Montreal distributed. Someone has posted key facts and art about the endgame scenario for the title online, so if you don’t want to get spoiled, you need to be on the lookout for it. The team is not happy this happened, so don’t add to it by spreading it further.
The game arrives on coles and PC on October 21st.
