Happy Halloween everyone. With how Scooby Doo is tied to horror, it's not a surprise that an installment of the franchise would focus on Halloween. While there have been various Halloween specials, whether as part of a show or something standalone, we've only had 3 Halloween movies. Those 3 are Scooby Doo And The Goblin King from 2008, Happy Halloween Scooby Doo from 2020, and Trick Or Treat Scooby Doo from 2022. They're all pretty well liked, but which is the best? You decide.

Out of these Trick or Treat is probably my pick for best Scooby Halloween movie. The story flowed pretty well and there were some good nods to past Scooby projects, plus Velma's whole sub-plot.

Though I've enjoyed the others as well, for different reasons. I could say the same about most Scooby movies. Happy Halloween is a close second, it had some neat guest-stars like Bill Nye, Elvira and even Scarecrow. Goblin King is a neat movie focusing mostly on Scooby & Shaggy.

The Ghoul School movie also has that Halloween open house party in it so at least part of it takes place on the holiday, though it's technically not a DTV movie.

Trick or Treat is 70% sold on the call-backs to the original series and Coco Diablo, and while it's a fun movie I have some issues with certain sub-plots (like the whole "Daphne is suddenly the leader" thing).

I feel like Happy Halloween is a really fun and epic movie and the way they integrated Scarecrow and properly resolved a sub-plot that had been building across several movies in a very Scooby-Doo way was pretty awesome.

Goblin King isn't one of my favorite Scooby films but it stands out by virtue of how unconventional the story is, the all-star cast guest cast, and the twist at the end.

Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost is the ultimate Scooby Halloween DTV for me. The setting and atmosphere alone is perfect.

This might sound like a controversial take but meh whatever.

Despite my disagreements with a lot of business decisions from Cartoon Network, I have nothing against the network personally. I have more of a problem with the fan base sometimes. They’re more annoying than Nickelodeon haters.

Yes, this terrifying homunculus that resembles Pearl from Steven Universe is an actual, officially licensed thing that was actually made. It's not a bootleg!

And to all those people out there who said "I'm gonna see X thing, to see how bad it sucks", if you know it going to suck, then why would you go see it?

All you're doing is giving the studios money by continuing making more crappy stuff. It's not a good thing, folks. It's not.
I had a Happy Halloween because I spent it watching episodes of my favorite Disney show

"The Ghost and Molly McGee"!
