What is your favourite decade of music?

1980s has the best in heavy metal. Liege Lord, Cirith Ungol, Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, the list goes on.

A lot of '90s alternative (Counting Crows, Goo Goo Dolls, the Cranberries, No Doubt, Alanis, etc.) actually had good storylines, while new alternative is mostly noise.

The Nineties was certainly a good decade for alt rock.

I've said elsewhere, I think, that I like the 1970s partially because of my interest in the Rhodes piano sound, which was dominant during that decade. Not that it would be a problem for the instrument to be used in any contemporary music; if anything, I would, or at least could, welcome it.
