We interrupt your regularly schedule Toonami programs to bring you...BATMAN MOVIES!

Nice to have movies back, but I still wish we could just finish up Golden Wind.

Did I just hear Bryan Cranston?

"This no place to raise a family."
I'm getting a very Se7en vibe from this. Hopefully this doesn't end with a "box".

Steven J. Blum!

No Kevin Conroy this time. But I'm sure...(looks up cast)...Ben McKenzie will do just fine.

I'm not really into superhero comics, and my Batman fandom extends about as far as the Adam West TV show and movie, so I may just chime in a riff here and there, but I'm not promising much.

The city of Townsville!

And somewhere, some religious nut on the Internet unleashes a tweetstorm.

He's a stand-up guy, as in his life would make a good idea for a stand-up routine.

He just beat up the Fonz!

Crooked cops. Yep, this is America all right.

Dangit Toonzone! Will you stop dying when I'm trying to comment?

Welp, looks like they dropped the proverbial bomb.

Seems Selina Kyle's going for the "Natalie Portman in V for Vendetta" look.

My Internet's been buggy all day, and then the forums go down. So many riffs wasted.

A lady named Selina who is apparently a cat person. You don't think...

These guys should have been defunded a long time ago.

Sergeant Monday has it out for Garfield, apparently.

Sheesh, they treated John Rambo better than this.

Huh. Didn't know police cars floated.

Skiing accident? Well, at least he made out better than Sonny Bono.

Oh, Jim. No. No!

And now, a quick joke about rabies shots.

Edward Hopper's Nighthawks.

A woman who is a cat. ...nahh, there's a terrible idea for a bad guy.

Nighthawks 2: Electric Boogaloo.

"Damn it Jim."
I'm a doctor, not a cop's mistress.''

Oh sure. You have one little affair and it comes back to bite you.

Okay, how long is this woman going to be pregnant?

Why is Bruce doing a faux-classy/British accent?

I thought Barbara was his daughter.

Hell of a thing for kids to tune in on Fox Kids to see.

So a guy likes old characters owned by WarnerMedia. You know how much it costs to license outside the company?

We still have a long way to go before Batgirl. She hasn't even been born yet.

So apparently Moe Greene survived and set up base in Gotham.

Well, guess it's a good thing that Jim's wife is incredibly forgiving.

"Ehh? You get it! ...attack his family!"

"VHS and Beta Rentals?" This IS underdeveloped.

Threatening to kill a baby. Did it ever occur to you that maybe you're the bad guys here?

Thank goodness the conveniently poor lighting hid his identity.

And thank goodness they somehow survived that fall.

And the rest, as they say, is history.

Wait...how did they land?

Loeb, huh? Well, you say he only hears what he wants to.

Heisenberg voices a cop? That's new.

"Based on the DC characters"? Wait, which DC characters? :p

I'm out, too. I've got comic stuff to do.

Oh hey, it's that game sequel everyone hates because the girl is the central character now.

Yes. He was Jim Gordon. Amusingly enough Ben McKenzie was Batman before he was Jim Gordon. lol.

I thought Barbara was his daughter.
Both Jim Gordon's first wife and daughter, who we know as Batgirl or Oracle, have the same first name.

"VHS and Beta Rentals?" This IS underdeveloped.
Aside from this coming from a comic in the 80s, it was also a nod to this funny convo from back in the day between producers Bruce Timm and Butch Lukic about which format would succeed.

I remember seeing Batman: Gotham Knight back in 2008, just a couple weeks after Toonami was cancelled.

They showed the head drop this time.

Bruce Yagami.
