Top 25 ratings time:

Kai: 747,000
JoJo: 643,000
IBO: 584,000

JoJo did better, IBO had a huge drop. Being earlier and having a new generic shonen should raise ratings a lot. The "Bleach" effect should be in full swing.

Full ratings:

8:30vDragon Ball Super 898 0.38
11:00 Dragon Ball Super 818 0.39
11:30 Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters 747 0.34 12:00a
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders 643 0.30
12:30a Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans 584 0.28
1:00a Hunter X Hunter 580 0.28
1:30a Lupin the 3rd: Part 4 49 20.25
2:00aNaruto: Shippuden 475 0.25
2:30a Outlaw Star 408 0.22
3:00aCowboy Bebop (r)422 0.24
3:30a Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG (r)368 0.21

8:30 Super beat Toonami Super. With no more 8:30 Super and Toonami getting the premiere, the split airings should not be as big a problem as they are now.

Okay, I'm quite surprised at the retention, especially for a marathon.

The marathon didn't see too that many viewers but surprisingly it didn't loose that many either.

I'm wondering what caused the sudden jump in viewership at 12:30. How did it manage to do better than 11:00? I would think that the Countdown finale would be a bigger driving force than...the middle of a late-night rerun block.

I don't know if it's in the cards for Toonami to try this based on budget, but if they were able to afford playing reruns of Kai, I'd like to see that happen late in the block. Those are numbers from a marathon, but I still think despite still being reruns it could help pick up the back half of the block. Not bad for rerun numbers though imo.

Top 25 ratings time.

Dragonball Super: 1,029,000
Kai: 779,000
Black Clover: 690,000
JoJo: 621,000
Gundam: 553,000
Lupin: 533,000

Making Toonami the only place for Super did wonders for its ratings, but what a drop after that. Black Clover did not bring in viewers, but maybe it could have if put before Kai.With Super around, ancient Z reruns seem less interesting.

Full ratings, full surprises.

11:00 Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters 799 0.35
11:30 Black Clover 690 0.30
12:00a Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders 621 0.28
12:30a Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans553 0.25
1:00aHunter X Hunter 526 0.24
1:30aLupin the 3rd: Part 4 533 0.27
2:00a Naruto: Shippuden 506 0.25
2:30aOutlaw Star 396 0.18
3:00a Cowboy Bebop (r)404 0.17
3:30aGhost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG (r)384 0.16

Lupin beat Hunter? Also interesting to note the huge dip between Naruto and Outlaw Star which Cowboy Bebop picks up from only to fall for Ghost.

1 million, good to see that number again, thanks in part of DBS airing once and an hour and a half as well, however its hard to believe DBZ Kai lost 1/4 of the previous shows viewers within the hour.

11:30 Black Clover 836 0.37
12:00a Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders 617 0.30
12:30a Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans 501 0.23
1:00a Hunter X Hunter 468 0.21
1:30a Lupin the 3rd: Part 4 422 0.19
2:00a Naruto: Shippuden 437 0.21

3:00a Cowboy Bebop (r) 340 0.17
3:30a Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG (r) 303 0.17

The Dragonball shows are rocking and rising. It's OVER 1.2 MILLION!!!!!!!! Kai also did way better than normal. The non-Dragonball shows, on the other hand, eww. HunterXHunter doing sub 500,000 during the Chimera Ant arc? Every show after the Dragonballs had a huge drop.

Pretty sweet to see both Super and Kai make it to 1 million together, haven't seen that in ages. But honestly compared to Super, Ghost saw a completely opposite story near a record low for any Toonami show, it's only a matter of time that it dips to 200 thousand.

Been a while i've posted but not that surprising. Though we still see the hard drop after Kai which hurts Black Clover. It'll be more interesting to see what'll happen after the new year given the two weeks off.

Seems like the Jack Bomb may finally be wearing off.
