Its the same ****ing beach, Pete.
No, it's not. I quote myself:

Cannon Beach is cleaner, prettier and a lot more serene. Seaside is a trashy hole full of screaming children and ugly tourist-trap stores full of garbage. By contrast, one visit to pristine Cannon Beach is the calming mathematical equivalent of 1,000 auto-massaging jacuzzis.

Great Scott.

Hi! My name is Molly Foster, and I am Bob and Sheilagh's daughter. My mothers name is spelled incorrectly on your website. It is spelled Sheilagh Conroy. Our attic is still full of cat paraphernalia, postcards, and we still have all his fan mail and costumes. If you want any more info on Bob, this is my current e-mail. Thanks!
If I play my cards right I could revamp that into the best Bob page on the Net. Not that there are any others, but still.

Right now. This week's update is FOR PORTLANDERS ONLY!

With a new piece on Richard Ross's last day hosting the news; this probably should have gone up WHEN he died, but delays occurred.

Plus, these new videos! That first one is insane; probably the largest video I'll ever upload. My original thought was that I could make an article out of it, but I know nothing of sports and didn't even know where to start. People probably want to see the game itself more anyway. It was too huge to watermark, so I hope no one swipes it. But I had to compress it to Artifacting City to get each slice of it to a reasonable size, so the joke would be on them as I still have the better copy.

They're not on there yet. I even refreshed the page.
They're not on the videos page itself yet because I wore myself out today with everything else.

Edit: Okay, now the videos are up. I also found some 1993 ads for Pietro's Pizza, but then I found out there is still a Pietro's in Milwaukee. I'll have to go there sometime...

So guess what? I could have also brought you an interview with Tonya Harding from 1987 (!!!) ...but the moment PM magazine started its segue into that interview, the picture changed to Robin Leach interviewing Sid Caesar. CURSE YOU, FATHER, AND YOUR ANTIQUATED TASTES....

Things to add to the FPO videos site...

...for posteriority.

Michael Rockstar's PDX 49 music video is priceless and should be added to the FPO videos section. Oh, and also put a Mattress World ad in there. It's not too late to sleep like a baby, Mattress World. You never know, things that may bug us now might be cool about 20-25 years from now, like the stuff from the 80's. Just my 2 cents.

Whose what? PDX 49 is saddled with MyNetwork TV now and I haven't turned it on since.

The day for Mattress World will come when the ads are no longer on TV--I must have about twenty scattered among various recordings. And after you acknowledge you read this, I'm going to merge it into the designated FPO topic.

Sorry for starting a new thread. PDX 49 has this music video ad that comes on and it's basically a long ad for KPDX 49 with a song. The music video is attributed to "Michael Rockstar". I'll have to try and tape it for myself cuz I like it so much. The only reason I watch 49 now is "The Simpsons" in syndication. "PDX 49 has Malcolm, The Simpsons, and South Park..."

I finally taped that music video I mentioned. I'll put it on a new DVD I'm working on, although I've gone through most of my old tapes by about now. I'm thinking I'll have to go through my Grandpa's (that's where I found the KATU coupon thing from '92.) By the way, any chance of an update in the near future?

There is an update coming soon. No new article, but a few new videos (some of them yours) and the first new Scary News strip in about a year. It's coming whenever I have the free time for it.

Don't mean to be nagging, but I am anxiously awaiting an update to the Videos section. I think it's one of the best websites on the whole internet. I'll have to start an award to the best website of the month or something just so I can give it an award.

I did catch the 5:00 Jim Bosley memorial, but thought the noon one Chris sent me was better.

It's been almost a year since the last Scary News and it really shows. I'm able to make her hair more realistic and Marmionesque now.

Thanks for updating the site! I really enjoy watching all the videos on here, and it's a treat to see my stuff I donated on here, too. I really like the old things (the 70's and 80's), especially stuff before I was born, but the newer stuff is still cool.

This Must Be Preserved!!

I just watched "This Is Oregon" and it brought back so many memories. I used to look forward to stayin' up late at night just to watch it. WOW!! What a piece of work! Thank you so much for this treasure. It really captures the Oregon spirit and makes me a happy Oregonian.

"Kim Possible: So the Drama" is 15 years old.

There will be a Sesame Street airing Tuesday night at 7:00. It's airing on PBS , HBO, TBS, TNT, Tru Tv, Boomerang, and Cartoon Network. The special airing in the latter two is surprising, but not as much. There was a preschool show that aired on the channel in the 1990s called Big Bag, which had Elmo guest star in an episode.
back when the Harvey Weinstein allegations happened i remember saying "well i'm not surprised he's known for being a jerk to certain movies particularly in his treatment in animated movies he acquired and is known for re-cutting live action flims behind director's backs."
They are still airing New Episodes of Max and Ruby???
